ALPINA – ALPINER 4 AUTOMATIC
SIMPLE AND STRONG
These three hand-date watches are designed for adventure! The flawless reliability means they’re as comfortable under water as up the mountain.
Anti-magnetic, anti-shock, water-resistant and stainless; those are the 4 criteria that Alpina outlined in 1938 to make a sturdy sports watch and they still appear in the latest Alpiner 4 Automatic 2017. The new models have two ISO certifications: one for protection against magnetic fields and one for its anti-shock properties. The generous 44mm stainless steel case is proven to be water-resistant to depths of 100m. These assets ensure the self-winding movement is perfectly precise in any condition. The AL-525 calibre in the Alpiner 4 Automatic provides a 38-hour power reserve.
The collection launched in 2014 and is joined by three models this year. Alpina has treated two of the masculine and sporty pieces to steel straps whose dials in ice blue and black stand out for their bang-on-trend sunburst pattern. The brand has also unveiled a model with a red-rimmed black dial and red-lined leather strap for a more modern look.
All the models have luminescent white hour and minute hands tracking silver markers coated in Luminova. The brand’s signature red triangle adorns the seconds hand and bidirectional bezel. The time information is completed by a date display at 3.
