RICHARD MILLE – RM 67-02 HIGH JUMP
HIGHER, FURTHER, STRONGER
Richard Mille hopes to smash the high jump world record with new partner Mutaz Essa Barshim. In the meantime, the brand has brought out the lightest self-winding watch in its collections!
Mutaz Essa Barshim is the rising star of world athletics. The Qatari athlete has won two Olympic medals and achieved the four best performances in the world in the last 5 years so he has every chance of beating the high jump world record that Javier Sotomayor set 24 years ago. To help him take on the challenge, Richard Mille has designed a watch that could be made for the champion. The RM 67-02 High Jump is like a second skin with the same featherweight and ergonomic design as the RM 67-01 but with the latest innovations. The result? It weighs just 32g, that’s including the strap! The case is made out of the brand’s exceptional material, TPT® carbon, to make it even stronger. The bezel is made using TPT® quartz injected with three layers of colourful resin giving the watch a unique striped purple design!
The skeleton self-winding movement in the RM 67-02 High Jump fuels the hours and minutes with a 50-hour power reserve when it’s wound up. The calibre has the same architecture as Richard Mille’s most recent pieces such as the rotor with variable inertia for improved reliability in the event of shocks.
The RM 67-02 High Jump is the lightest self-winding watch in Richard Mille’s collections. It has a new strap made in one piece whose flexibility enables it to hug the wrist no matter its shape.
